1. Director Assistant (US residents)
We are looking for an organized, adaptable, and creative Director Assistant to support the director and production team throughout the upcoming project. This hybrid contract role involves both remote work and on-set support as needed. The Director Assistant will play a critical role in coordinating schedules, managing communications, organizing shoot logistics, and ensuring smooth project flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the director with daily tasks, including organizing schedules, meetings, and production timelines
- Communicate between departments to ensure all team members are aligned on the project’s goals and deadlines
- Help organize and prepare necessary documents, scripts, call sheets, and other production materials
- Coordinate logistics for filming, including travel arrangements, permits, and location coordination
- Take detailed notes during meetings, on set, and in review sessions to provide actionable feedback and updates
- Manage communications and liaise between director, crew, and cast to address questions or concerns promptly
- Assist with administrative tasks, including budget tracking and expense reports
- Be present on set as required to support production and troubleshoot any immediate needs
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism, representing Pinq Productions with integrity and a collaborative spirit
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a director assistant or production assistant in film/TV or digital media
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project needs
- Passion for storytelling, film production, and women-centered narratives
